Quyen Ngo
Quyen (she/her/hers) is interested and invested in work that helps increase the grey in our lives: how do we increase nuance in a world so often bound by ideas of right and wrong? The interest started in middle school, where she was trained in conflict mediation, facilitation, as well as acting – all practices that require listening and understanding motives. She stuck with these interests over the years; in between, she also worked in news and music radio as well as municipal government. Nowadays, she’s still acting and facilitating. Sometimes she narrates books (My Father the Panda Killer, The Mountains Sing) and translates Vietnamese poetry and song to English. She wants to build space for difficult conversation to enable the building of strong and healthy communities and movements.
