Nhut (she/her/hers) grew up in the Washington, DC area celebrating her heritage through Vietnamese school lessons, wushu at võ đường thiếu lâm, and human rights protests at the Vietnamese Embassy. After earning a degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity, Nhut gained greater understanding about issues impacting Vietnam and the Vietnamese diaspora, recognizing generational divides and apathy from her peers. To address these observations, she participated in organizations that mobilized youth to support causes inside and outside Vietnam. In her professional journey, Nhut became a corporate social responsibility advocate and is committed to diversity awareness and minority recruiting. She aims to leverage her corporate and community experiences to organize opportunities and resources for the Vietnamese community at large.
